It's been a rather tiring week of training at the Lee Valley Olympic Course. I forget how physical it is paddling here and after the first session I had the same familiar muscle burn one would experience after a hard gym set. However, it is great being in touch again and I realise once more, how much I love this course.

A couple of easy days post world cups allowed me to recover, check out London, see a show (Les Miserables), visit some galleries and stop by a NZ cafe in Soho called flat white which had the best coffee in town!

On Wednesday I head to Nottingham to train for 12 days whilst the course here closes and then I am back down in London until the Olympics.

The atmosphere is certainly picking up and the London Olympic logo is a reoccurring sight all over the country. Less than a month until the games begin.
